Winnie the Pooh Day happens each year on January 18th at Wicksteed Park to celebrate the birthday of the author AA Milne, who wrote the collection.
The books told the adventures of a bear named Pooh, his best friend Christopher Robin and all their friends including Piglet, Owl and Tigger. The first book was published in 1926 and was illustrated with drawings by Earnest Shepherd. The drawings of the animals on their adventures captured the imaginations of children and adults, and the books and characters are still much-loved today.
In order to celebrate the day, why not start your own journey around the park, using our free Winnie the Pooh Adventure Sheet, available to pick up at reception on the day.
