The 1950’s American rock n roll revolution was spearheaded by the original Four Seasons: Frankie, Nick, Tommy and Bob. America’s answer to the British pop invasion, Frankie and the boys created some of the greatest rock n roll songs of a generation. Pumping out classics such as Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and many many more.

Walk Like A Man is the ultimate celebration of the band that gave us this musical legacy and showcases, not only their individual vocal harmony style but also their slick dance moves.

You can come and enjoy the Matinee performance at Wicksteed Park, with an afternoon tea:

Friends of Kettering Library will be holding a Rock and Roll Class at Kettering Library, Sheep St, Kettering NN16 0AY.

If you would you like to learn to learn Rock and Roll then this is the class for you. Entrance is FREE.

James Watt & the Avenues are a Surf and Rock’n’Roll 3-piece,
Playing mainly reverb-drenched instrumental songs that evoke the sound of crashing waves and covering songs from the early days of rock and roll at The Shire Horse, Kettering.

Named after a Corby, Northants street name, the band are made up of a sex-toy-dispatching Bassist, an NHS-programming-Guitarist and an ‘African Sunset’ Drummer who stands up and plays a bespoke Yamaha Electronic kit.

They are influenced by all things 60s-instrumental Surf Rock, Punk, Classical and obviously Rock’n’Roll.

Formed in 2013 from an acoustic 2 piece who played the James Bond theme (acoustically), the band finally followed their influences and progressed to a proper setup with the traditional Guitar, Bass & Drums.

Come and witness their set and their Shirts at The Shire Horse, Kettering.
