A concert of seasonal music by this well established Kettering choir at St Botolph’s Church, Barton Seagrave.
Includes light refreshments. Admission free. There will be a retiring collection in aid of two charities: Accommodation Concern (an anti-poverty, housing advice and homelessness prevention charity based in Kettering), and 52 Lives (a charity that aims to change someone’s life every week of the year: see www.52-lives.org).
The 6th of December happens to be Elf Day which means that the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre shall be raising funds to help beat Alzheimer’s, a cause close to their hearts. To support this day they are running a range of classes with 25% of class fees being donated to Alzheimer’s Society. Full timetable is below, head to the website to book your space.
The centre will be running their usual Friday Hot yoga with Maz at 7am and 9.15am and Hot Pilates at 5.45pm will be covered by Szilvia so you wont miss out if this is your normal routine. Classes from 10am starting with meditation through to 5pm Hatha… Two Breaths more will be 45 minute tasters for £5 with 25 percent of overall class income being donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Polka Dot Events Management has teamed up with Sean, the Northampton Grocer, to present the Charity Casino Night at Tresham Hall, Rothwell!
Sean held many fundraising events during 2018 for Brain Tumour Research and completed many marathons in memory of Alan Mills.
This year Sean decided he wanted to push himself even further and set himself the challenge to run 1000 miles in the calendar year.
In 2018 he ran a total of 515 miles.
Following on from the success of our Casino evening in July, they have decided to put on another charity evening to kick off the Christmas party season.

JOHNNY’S HAPPY PLACE Proudly Presents A COMEDY GIG FOR ALEX
ED NIGHT, JOE SUTHERLAND & CRIME SCENE IMPROVISATION with Nick Wills as Compere
JHP’s ‘A Comedy Gig for Alex’ is a fundraiser for their volunteer Alex, who was left paralysed in 2018. Alex is a wonderful young man who was training to be a counsellor with Corby Mind. He was travelling back from there during the snow storms of 2018 when his car slid into a ditch. Alex needs lots of equipment to help with him with his rehabilitation and his physiotherapy isn’t cheap.
In short, he needs money and we want to help him by putting on events over the next year. Alex desperately wants to come back to JHP to volunteer and we will support him as much as we can.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival favourites Ed Night, Joe Sutherland and Crime Scene Improvisation will be rolling into Kettering for a guaranteed night of laughter and mayhem in aid of Alex. None of these comedians have performed in Kettering before so come see them while you can; they are hot stuff! A fundraising quiz is taking place at the Royal Hotel in the Market Place, Kettering to raise funds and thank them for all their hard work in helping people enjoying themselves out in the town on Saturday nights.
Food will be provided by the Royal Hotel and an fun evening will be hosted by Kettering’s new community radio station, Shire Sounds.

Chap Hop and Steampunk legend Professor Elemental is on his debut visit to Kettering, at the Kettering General Hospital Rec Hall.
This will be an evening not to miss with Professor Elemental performing some of his finest musical hits. There will also be be a DJ playing Swing, Boogaloo, Latin, Soul and more – with Ceroc dancers to lead the way on the dance floor!
