Cycle for Cransley 2020 has been postponed due to the coronavirus and will be back on 13th June 2021!

With exhilarating and picturesque routes through the rolling Northampton countryside, this incredible cycling challenge offers something for all ages and abilities.

The ‘Cransley Family-Fun Spin’ is back, at a maximum of 10-miles, the ‘Cransley Cruise’ at a manageable 25-miles, the challenging ‘Fun-Filled Fifty’ (at 50-miles!) and for the elite amongst us, the thrilling ‘Cransley Fondo,’ a 63-mile (100km) extravaganza… what’s more, BRAND NEW for 2021, there will be knuckle-biting off-road route for the mountain bike fans, at up to 30-miles! All routes include a fabulous Cycle for Cransley medal for every finisher!

All rides will begin from the ‘Kettering Rugby Club’. Make sure you stay take the time to soak up the atmosphere in the new and improved Event Village following your ride! Thanks to generous support from our Headline sponsors ‘Tollers Solicitors’ and KLM Taxis the event will be bigger and better than ever before.

Grab your walking boots and hop, skip, run or cycle in the footsteps of Cransley Hospice Trust‘s incredible nurses. ?
 
Between the 1st and 30th April, walk along The Cransley Way and to see how far you can get.
 
The Cransley Way is 100 miles long which is the average distance that one of their nurses will walk in a month, but you can tackle as much or as little as you like. ?

Kilo-challenge-Fredoka

Teams from Cransley Hospice Trust and Kettering Rugby Football Club are coming together in an attempt to lift a Million Kilograms in one day and they would love for you to join in and help them achieve it!

What do you have to do? It’s FREE to register and anyone can join in, whether you’re lifting weights, dumbbell’s, cans of baked beans or even your dog! YOU will need to email your total weight lifted during the day and the cumulative totals will be given out at intervals, with the final total announced at the end of the day.

Where can you do it? Kettering Rugby Club or from your own home!

Cransley Hospice Trust presents the happiest, bubbliest event of the year that will be returning once again to Wicksteed Park on Sunday 10th May 2020! Tickets are on sale NOW!

Bubblers can walk, run, dance or slide their way through the thrilling 5k course as they are blasted with colourful foamy bubbles at each of the four ‘bubble stations.’ The course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly – and families with children of all ages will delight at this unique experience!

5k too much to handle? Don’t worry – the flexible 2.5k lap means that participants can just tackle the half-distance and then enjoy everything the event-village has to offer!

Bubbles are not just for bath-time and we can guarantee every bubbler will leave with a medal, a t-shirt and a huge smile on their faces. The Bubble Rush atmosphere is infectious and you will have a day out to remember for years to come!

Kettering Symphony Orchestra Event

Kettering Symphony Orchestra is an amateur orchestra from the town of Kettering, Northants and is comprised of players from all around the surrounding villages and towns.

The band are a registered charity and put on three classical music concerts every year for the benefit of the local community and the members of the orchestra.

Currently the Orchestra has around 60 musicians ranging in age from teenagers to pensioners.

Celebrate the most romantic night of the year at the Corn Market Hall, with an evening of ballroom dancing and disco, including a raffle and games! Families are welcome, and it’s £5 per person on the door. This event is organised by Serve, the voluntary organisation and registered charity that provide services and assistance to the elderly.

Coffee-Morning

Come along to a coffee morning at Drovers Hall, Kettering, on Wednesday 12th February 2020, where LIVE Kettering are getting involved in the community in a BIG way by helping to raise money to provide Kettering Foodbank with a much needed fridge freezer.

There will be stalls, raffles, guess the name of the teddy, guess how many sweets are in a jar and many more fun things to do and try!

Following the hip-shaking, move-making, sponsorship-raising success of last year’s event, Cransley Hospice brings you the Zumbathon 2020 with Roberto Zumba!

If you’re up for this fantastic two-hour challenge, make sure you secure your place today to join at Grafton Underwood Village Hall on Saturday 25th January 2020. It really is not to be missed!

Registration will open at 12.30pm with the Zumba-tastic class kicking off from 1pm. There’ll also be chance for a mid-class pit-stop, with refreshments included in your ticket price.

There’ll be a super raffle on the day, with plenty of opportunities to take home some fantastic goodies.

Tickets for this sweaty-extravaganza are just £10 for adults and Under 11’s for £5, so participation in the very first Cransley Hospice event of 2020 won’t break the bank either!
