Following the fantastic response to our public survey earlier this year, a final design has been agreed for major improvements to the southern end of the High Street, through to Meadow Road, and gateways on Lower Street and Gold Street.

Additional funding from Historic England has been awarded to NNC. The funding will see the same style of paving and benches, already installed in High Street, extended between the junctions of Dryland Street and Crispin Place.
Public Realm works will finish in late Spring 2023. Thank you all for your continued patience whilst major improvement works have been carried out in the town centre. The improvement works have been well received and will help breathe new life into Kettering’s town centre and unlock its potential.
There will be some inevitable disruption. We will work closely with businesses and affected residents to keep them informed directly, as well as the wider local population so everyone is aware of what is happening and when, and what to expect
