NCPS is run by people who live with chronic pain, we understand the life changing affects it has on people, the fact it feels overwhelming and it feels like it takes over your life. We offer people the time to talk openly about their personal experience of living with chronic pain and the dramatic effect it has on their mental health.

The Sexual Health Outreach Team offer education, information and awareness around safer sex, STIs and basic contraception. The team manage the Chlamydia Screening Programme and C-Card Service. The service primarily supports 15-24s, but also vulnerable groups of all ages.
WALX Heart of The Shires is a walking group with a twist. Our team of qualified Instructors and Walk Leaders offer a range of walks for fitness, fun or simply exploring the great outdoors. Activities include Wellness WALX, Nordic WALX, Yoga WALX and Total Body WALX.
Kettering ASC is the home of competitive swimming and water polo in the borough. Our highly qualified and dedicated Coaches ensure that every swimmer reaches their potential. We have junior, senior and masters squads and also a water polo team.
The NCC Online Safety and Wellbeing Officer provides resources and advice for parents, young people, schools, and professionals about the internet and keeping safe on it. This includes sessions, workshops information around online safety, wellbeing and mental health

LifePlan offers one to one support regarding training, education; employment; volunteering and tenancy skills. The service is available to all council and housing association tenants. Age UK Northamptonshire is many things to many people – a source of advice, information, companionship and support. We provide a wide range of services to a growing number of older people, improving their quality of life, promoting independence and preventing frailty, poverty and isolation. Take a look at the videos to find out more about some of our services: Video one: Amy Shelton from Age UK Northamptonshire’s Collaborative Care Team explains some of the ways the local charity can support older people in the county, enabling them to live independently and make more of life. She mentions the Information & Advice Service that provides help with benefits claims and the day centres where older people can enjoy company, a hot meal and the opportunity to join in group activities with friends. Video two; Age UK Northamptonshire’s Trading Manager Roger Harris gives information about some of the practical services the charity provides in people’s homes. The Handyperson Service can fit key safes and window locks, for example. The Gardening Service takes the worry out of keeping the grass cut and hedges tidy. The Domestic Cleaning Service provides a reliable cleaner who is DBS checked and will help an older person look after their home, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Video three: Lifetime Activities Co-ordinator Jason Williams provides encouraging support that enables older people in Northamptonshire to stay active and enjoy regular exercise.
KC Active is a community managed sports and recreation complex set on a 12-acre site in the Northamptonshire village of Kings Cliffe. It has two full-sized football pitches, a floodlit 3G multi-use games area (MUGA), state of the art floodlit tennis and netball courts, lots of play areas with equipment and a pavilion with changing facilities plus a sizeable community room with kitchen and toilets. And a brand new gym, Active Performance and a range of exciting new health and wellbeing activities being developed in conjunction with the local Surgery.
Cooking Good is a community-based, food project aimed at cooking on a tight budget. It is focused on cooking from scratch, families cooking together, increasing the consumption of fresh foods and increasing cooking confidence. Cooking Good brings people together in their local communities by sharing recipe ideas, cooking successes, cooking on a budget, and reducing waste.
